A few comments
My husband Daniel has accused me in the last week of being a blog addict. I laughed. It's true - I spend over an hour almost every day blog cruising. It's a blast and the changing content is perfect for my ADD tendencies. So it's official - I'm hooked. My favorite ones on are the link list, but I go further on occasion. Just those alone is enough to spend lots of time online.
Most of y'all know that Daniel and I share a reformed faith. Over the past couple of years, I've come to really appreciate the heritage of this faith which is influenced by my husband, parents, and grandparents (who are not reformed, but still an influence) as well as writers and thinkers such as Luther, Kuyper, D.A. Carson, Grudem, Piper, and various preachers at Sovereign Grace. I find my worldview "clicking" fully with my theology and the combination is more potent than I thought possible.
This fact combined with my web travels makes for great learning. Where else can you find sermons both 100 years old and 12 minutes old? Where else can you find what Piper says about Driscoll? It's instant, accessible commentary and I'm loving the learning curve. And I've learned quite a bit - last week, I took a "which reformed blogger are you?" quiz. I understood all the jokes and laughed like crazy. That doesn't necessarily prove I'm learning, but it does prove the time I'm online and trust me, I'm learning.
God bless the internet.
